Q. Can I start a Charis Bible Study internationally?

A. Yes. We welcome Charis Bible Studies in New Zealand, provided there is a qualified Charis graduate (2+ years) available to lead the group. AWMA Study Groups are also open across both Australia and New Zealand.

Q. Can anyone be a Group Leader of a Charis Bible Study?

A. Charis Bible Study Group Leaders must be graduates of Charis Bible College (having completed two or more years of study). Andrew Wommack Ministries Australia (AWMA) Study Group Leaders do not need to be Charis graduates but must be approved by AWMA using approved AWM materials.

Q. Do I have to have an established group to start a study?

A. No. You can apply as a group leader with no established group or individuals to start.

Q. What do I need to agree to before leading a group?

A. All approved Leaders must read, understand, and agree to the Group Leader Responsibilities, Conduct, Notice, Release, and Waiver document, as well as uphold the Charis Bible College Doctrinal Statement and the Ministry Statement of Faith.

Q. How often should a group meet, and how long does a study take?

A. Leaders have flexibility to meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Most studies have 14–26 lessons. For example, Spirit, Soul, and Body (23 lessons) typically takes 5–6 months if meeting once per week. The Discipleship Evangelism course is different with 48 lessons but you will have the flexibility to go through the lessons according to your group schedule.
